Lisa, Keith, LeAnn, Keith, Diane and Dan enjoyed a snowy Spring Break in North Platte,
March 26, 27, and 28th, 2011.
A highlight of the trip was siting several Sandhill Cranes just hanging out in a field near the Buffalo Bill Cody State Historical Park along with a Nebraska Hereford "native".
We stayed at the Howard Johnson Motel--a little rustic and in need of an update-- but we still managed to have a Great Time.

Rated R and downsized to protect the innocent, Dan takes advantage of the tripod situation:)
The girls shopped, played scrabble & visited.
The guys played Cribbage, shopped, did some sightseeing, and visited.

The Sandhill Crane migration is a very popular annual attraction in Central Nebraska -- for the hundreds of thousands of migrating cranes -- and also their many viewers who come from all over the world to watch the event. I finally got to see them!!!
