Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind?

We spent two nights in the Fort Worth/Dallas Area and visited Roger and Carol Green.

The Grapevines Campground in Grapevine, Texas--Nice Spot Texas LOVES their fly-overs...
This is Little Reese Lackey with her dad Cass-- Reese is Bubba #8 (nickname for their grandchildren) for Roger and Carol Green (Keller, Texas). What a joy it was to meet their family.

These two lovely little ladies are Avery and Riley Lackey.

Happy Camper/Saturday Pancake Breakfast and Tuesday Breakfast Bike Ride

Happy Camper Dano Breakfast Bike Ride
I think Marilyn is saluting me????? That's not the Italian salute, is it:)

There must have been 50 riders in our Breakfast Ride
to Taco Fiesta --We brought up the Rear:)

This one is actually the Pancake Breakfast at the RV resort--
more like 300 people there.
Breakfast Pancake Flippers

Seems like we eat a lot here--this is at Irma's for Breakfast on Sunday. We've been to Ticos for faquitas, Buck's Pizza for Pizza, Irma's for breakfast, The Galleon for fish and shrimp, and Texas Roadhouse for steak--Dan just came in and said we are to go across the street to Elwoods for cake and ice-cream! Those Ole' Folks know how to live!
We're packing up and headed north tomorrow morning to Fort Worth to see Roger and Carol Green.

Chasing Dolphins and Sunning at South Padre Island

What a Great Day! a Visit to South Padre Island, Texas.

Marilyn was the only one brave enough to kick off her shoes and get in the water--
Mandatory shell-seeking when we hit the beach.

The bridge between Port Isabel and South Padre Island

Seagulls soaring on such a beautiful day.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull--First Level--Main Floor--(you have to read the book)

BOTTLE-NOSED DOLPHINS!!

I love the Gulls--they posed nicely.

A Cow Fish- see his little horns?-one of the net catches for our viewing pleasure on the Eco Dolphin Watch.

A starfish asking "Whatsup?" --another of the net catch on board the ship "Fish Tales"

Friendly Pelicans looking for a handout
Dolphins are hard to photograph--believe me--if you look CLOSELY you can see this ones nose and eye--swimming toward us.
Dan leaving the boat
Our Captain at the Helm--nice Jolly Fellow who
called himself a "wetback"---his crewmate Melvin
he jokingly called a marine biologist as he showed
us the "catch of the day"
Midwestern Seafarers
Diane & Dan at Irma's for breakfast.
We've done a pancake breakfast, some bingo, church, and the trip to South Padre Island--the days seem to be flying by.
Wishing you a Great Week!
