Devin helped me celebrate my birthday by taking me to " Super Diamond" at Hudson Gardens

Dan and I had a vacation heading north to Fort Robinson, NE

We also visited Toadstool Park -- with the terrain of a spaghetti western--one more check off our Bucket List

Leaving Ft Robinson, we motored on to Custer State Park and the Tatanka (the bison of the Black Hills)

We stopped by Mount Rushmore...

We remembered fondly our first trip to Mt. Rushmore as we were driving in wondering where it was, and Seth in the infinite wonder of a 3-year-old proclaimed "There He Is"...when he saw this view of Washington.

July 3, 2011 - Independence Day Barbecue

We had a delicious BBQ with hamburgers, hotdogs, brats, chicken and mushrooms. and all the fixings!
Thanks Seth and Derek for planning and grilling a delightful lunch.

We played some tennis in 90+ degree heat, and also a rousing game of Bocce Ball with Tony officiating as line judge.
